Big hype, little substance

While the views are beautiful and the wellness area is stunning, it hardly meets the high expectations set by the hype. The food, although plentiful, sometimes lacked flavor. Additionally, we faced limited Wi-Fi and slight delays in the shuttle service. It's a decent stay, but there are noticeable areas needing improvement.

We had an amazing time with friends! We enjoyed beautiful cycles through the Falzarego and Valparola passes, breathing in the stunning alpine views. The atmosphere was just right for a non-competitive cycling event. The food was incredible, and the staff made us feel right at home.

However, we did experience some limited internet access during our stay, which made planning our activities a bit tricky.

Hotel Fanes offers a delightful experience with stunning views and a fantastic wellness area. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, but the wifi often struggled. An unexpected charge for water at dinner was surprising. Overall, the attentive staff and beautiful location made for a memorable stay.

Fanes offers spacious rooms with stunning views of the Dolomites. The service is exceptionally attentive, particularly in the restaurant, where the antipasti bar is a highlight. The wellness area is comprehensive, featuring both indoor and outdoor pools, and ample sauna options for relaxation after a long day of skiing.

my stay at the hotel exceeded my previous experiences in san cassiano. the dinner was excellent, featuring a variety of delicious local dishes. the wellness facilities, especially the outdoor pool with stunning mountain views, were the highlight of my visit.

Our junior suite was spacious with beautiful mountain views. The decor was a bit basic alpine style but very clean and comfy. Enjoyed the bathroom too. they really didn't skimp on towels! Only some minor issues like a small shower cubicle and limited internet access, but nothing too crazy.

Incredible dining experience!

We spent 5 nights here in a Junior Suite and it was amazing! The breakfast was to die for, and the 4pm buffet had great snacks. I loved the spa area, especially the outdoor brine jacuzzi. Staff was super attentive, but the Wi-Fi was pretty slow which made streaming a hassle.

we had an amazing five nights at fanes! the breakfast and dinners were sensational, and the wellness facilities are stunning, especially the expert massages. it’s in close proximity to the ski lifts, making it perfect for skiing. the staff were friendly and attentive, which added to our overall experience.
